Medicare is now accepted at Dr. Mendelsohn's office. Please contact Rochelle at (800) 780-4166 to verify your Medicare benefits before scheduling your appointment. Please allow 1-3 business days for Dr. Mendelsohn to provide you with your verification of benefits (VOB), as it may take some time to contact the company.
Once your insurance is verified and you are ready to schedule an appointment, you will be required to enter your credit card information into the online scheduler (Schedulicity) to hold your appointments. Your credit card will not be charged for your co-insurance until after your date of service.
NO SHOW: If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, you will be charged in full for your missed appointment, as Medicare will not reimburse for a missed appointment. You may reschedule your appointments via Schedulicity outside of 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. In the case of an emergency within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, you may text Dr. Mendelsohn and she will be able to reschedule your appointment for you.
